QVC moves head office to Chiswick
Local MP Mary Macleod has welcomed the news that broadcast retail business QVC UK is to move their head office to Chiswick. The well known shopping channel, with an annual turnover of nearly £400 million, is set to move their 600 staff to the Chiswick Business Park next year. Mary commented: “QVC is a growing company who currently employ around 2000 people, so I am delighted that they have decided to move their head office to our area.
“I met recently with QVC ‘s Chief Executive Mr Dermot Boyd and I am looking forward to welcoming him and his London team to Chiswick. With its excellent transport links and close proximity to central London, the local area is increasingly attracting interest from a broad range of innovative and growing companies looking to take advantage of what the area has to offer their business. I wish QVC every success and I look forward to catching their first broadcast from their new Chiswick home on June 7th 2012.”
