Mary commented:
“I was extremely sad to hear about the death of Barney Hayhoe and my thoughts are with his family at this time. Many local people will have fond memories of Barney and will have worked with him over his many years of service to constituents as the local Member of Parliament. He will be greatly missed. I was privileged to meet Lord Hayhoe on many occasions and am extremely thankful for his encouragement, support and kindness throughout my time as MP for Brentford & Isleworth.”
