Unemployment down 20%, Youth unemployment down 25% in Brentford and Isleworth

Brentford and Isleworth MP Mary Macleod today welcomed new employment figures showing that both unemployment and youth unemployment had fallen again this month.

Mary commented:

“It’s fantastic to see so many more people in my constituency off benefits and in work. In London now, over a quarter of a million people have found work since 2010 – all of them building a safer and more secure future for themselves and their families. I will keep doing more to encourage aspiration through next year and hopefully we can drive unemployment down even further still”.
