Local MP pushes Council to secure Gunnersbury funding

Local MP Mary Macleod has urged Hounslow Council to use their Section 106 money to help fund the necessary redevelopment at Gunnersbury station.

Mary received confirmation that Councillors will soon be making a decision regarding the use of the S106 money.  She has urged them to ensure that as much as possible is spent on the changes needed at Gunnersbury station.

Mary said:

“The Gunnersbury Station Action Team is very close to securing some of the funding that is needed for the vital improvement works at the station.  The Action Team has been essential in continually calling for upgrades to the station.  Local residents have done excellent work in maintaining pressure on the Council to fund these changes at the station.  I am glad to hear that the Council will soon be making a decision on how much money it can add to the cost of the redevelopment.”
